Beiersdorf’s NIVEA is the world’s largest skin care brand. Other names in its successful international brand portfolio include Eucerin, La Prairie, Labello, 8x4, and Hansaplast/Elastoplast. Beiersdorf has around 130 years of skin care experience and is known for its innovative and high-quality products.

The main focus of Beiersdorf´s biological skin research is to understand the skin physiology. Based on the dermatological expertise and the experience in skin cell culture the role of Beiersdorf in ArtiVasc 3D will be to contribute to both, the construction and the characterization of a 3D vascularized skin model.
